I am sure if her contract is up whether she is on maternity leave or not the station can exercise their right to pick it up or let her go. She can not sue them as for one they are in their legal right and two she was not fired for being on maternity leave and in fact was not fired at all they just chose not to renew her contract!

He lost because he showed he had no loyalty to us when at first he thought he had no chance at a Congressional job here started taking his skinny butt to Washington. Once he found out he could run here then he gave the illusion that he had given Washington up and was all about us again. Once he loss here he went running back up there. That is disgusting! If he loves Cleveland as he has so often said then he would stay here and try to find a job that has him helping Cleveland in some aspect. All he wants is to be in Congress and does not care where he goes to do it. Washington can have him gladly!!!!

I am truly disgusted by this man. He claims to love Cleveland and yet instead of staying here and doing something else to help Cleveland he takes off for another state just so he can stay in Congress. Makes me sick. You should be in Congress because you care about the place and the people you represent not because its a job that you can bounce state to state from. Its not like working for a private business where you believe in the product and can go anywhere to sell it. I use to vote for Dennis and in the past have also worked on some of his campaigns but once he went to Washington and started pandering to them when he thought he might lose his seat here I lost all hope in the man. And just to state I liked him as a Congressmen for us but never voted for him for President he is a bit too wacky to be President!

What ever happened to the days when if a child did not do well in school they flunked and had to repeat that grade again? When my son was in 1st grade he did not do well and I was told he was not up to par with the other kids and did not know what a first grader should know but yet they were gonna pass him to the 2nd grade. I demanded that they hold him back and had to actually argue with the principal about it to get it done. They said he will be an older first grader and I said I would prefer he be an older first grader then a stupid second grader. And then my brother graduated from Parma schools and he can not even read! Parma schools got issues!

Maybe if Dennis had been a bit more concerned about the people in his district he would still have a job. Go run back to Washington state and see if they want your two faced ass.

My youngest son was born with a birth defect called multicystic hydrophonosis of the left kidney and at 7 months old they removed the left kidney and he has lived his life with only one kidney. He is now 19 years old and so far so good ( knock on wood ). I was told back then that before ultrasounds there were people who went all their lives not knowing they had one or three kidneys and lived to be 90 years old. I have always lived in fear that someday he might need a new kidney and it is good to know that there are people in this world like Curtis who can come to someones rescue!!

Well then if you think that his name plays into it having the name of a top level automobile should have had some influence on him as well but that doesnt seem to work either. My first name is not typical for a girl and I have been made fun of my whole life for it but I will tell you I am not a criminal. I have never killed, attempted to kill or even done bodily harm to anyone. So its not right to suggest that a name is the cause. He is the way he is due to the environment in which he was raised.

The Dept of Family Services is the one in charge of these home daycares. I was thinking of signing up with them as a family daycare provider as I watch my grandson for my daughter because she is not comfortable with daycares since my grandson ended up getting stitches in his head when he was at one anyways if I sign up and jump through a few hoops of theirs they will pay me like 75. a week to watch him which is way cheaper then what they were paying for his daycare but I am too lazy lol to jump through their hoops and have watched him gratis which I am ok with cuz I rather he was with me. Alot of these home daycares are women who couldnt find a job or didnt want to leave their houses to work so they do this and there is a strong demand for them as they are cheaper then professional daycares.

My mom use to work at a Lawsons in Brecksville when I was a kid. Sometimes she would take me to work with her and I would sit by the magazine rack and read magazines and drink slush puppies where I put a squirt from each flavor into the ice ( we called them suicide slush puppies ).

Also if the Child Support system would overhaul its system and stand by the rules and laws it makes then I really dont think their would be much need to put people in jail because people would learn that you cannot mess around with it or you will be punished. For example Child Support rules state that you must report a new address or job if you dont your suppose to be fined well I know from my case and some friends cases as well that they never fine these people for doing those things. There are so many other rules that let these people slide and when they do get caught they get a slap on the hand. There are so many things besides jail that child support could do to make these people pay but they choose to leave this system in place that does not work!!

For one thing Deborah not all of us are lucky enough to have parents to help support our kids. And for another thing why shouldnt the father have to help pay for the child he helped to make? If you have chosen to forgo the child support and have your parents fulfill the role instead then good for you but the average person can not or will not impose that on their parents. My parents didnt help me make this child so why should they pay? It is mine and the father of my childs responsibility to care for and provide for this child and it should not be placed on my shoulders.

Most people do not find out until after the child is here and the other parent decides they no longer want to spend their money on taking care of their kids. But you do have a point when people sleep with others that have kids they dont pay for and know it and then turn around and have kids with them thinking they and their kid(s) are special and he will hang around for them and help take care of them when he didnt his and or her 14 other kids.

No locking them up does not get your money but apparently leaving them to roam free doesnt either so if they aint gonna pay anyways then lock his and or her butt up.

Yes they do but can only take so much so she is probably not getting but half if that of her child support that is owed plus he is behind so she is not getting the extra money for the arreages that she would be getting if he was working and being garnished from the state. You can report the fraud but it has to be proved and thats hard to do.

I no longer receive support because my kids are of age but when I did I always said that those who do not pay should be charged with child neglect as we who have custody would be if we didnt provide for our kids. I think not paying equals neglect on their part and should be treated the same.

This story stinks all to high hell!! Cleveland Cops had no business here in Parma and should have went through channels and police reports like everyone else has to do. I am sure I am not the only one in Parma watching this story!!

I usually enjoy your columns but not this one. I will hold onto my hate for this man forever and cheer against him and anyone who supports him!

Nice!! I like referring us Clevelanders as family myself and its nice to see another that does as well. It s for the exact reason that others make fun of our city that we are like family here and could care less what outsiders who dont understand have to say!! ledouche understands it he knows why we hate him and he knows it isnt gonna go away but he made his choice and now it is what it is!!

Just because you have your kids young doesnt make you a bad parent. I had my first when I was 16 and I never beat my kids or taught them wrong. I stopped doing the little bit of bad stuff I had been doing and raised my kids right. I am now 40 and the child I had at 16 is now 24 and a mother of a 4 year old. These people here are just animals and would most likely have been worthless parents at whatever age they had kids.
