I would agree that this is a problem. However, making it so that only 1 vote can occur from one IP address has similar issues. First off, many public places share a single IP address for example schools. Secondly, those technically savvy enough can renew thier IP address as often as they like, thusly not eliminating the issue of cheating. Point is, if people want to cheat, they will cheat.
Perhaps forcing registration for voting would b ea good option?
With identical 3-0 division marks, the Ravens and Rough Riders battle it out for the No. 1 spot in the division.
Oh, there's also a potential playoff bid hanging over Friday's outcome as well.
With 9.4166 points, the Ravens (5-1) trail only Chargin Falls and Walsh Jesuit from their third-place slot in Division III, Region 9. Assuming we finish the season strongly, Ravenna looks to be in great shape for a second-straight postseason bid.
The 4-2 Rough Riders are also alive for the playoffs with 7.2666 points " good for eighth place in Division II, Region 5.
Isn't it kind of fitting that this 86-year rivalry once again carries these sort of implications?
So why is there so little coverage over this game? Is it because is Portage county?
Has everyone already forgot that Ravenna lost to Lake by a single point in the opening round of last years playoffs?
Like others, here, just looking for a little more credit-respect for the ravens than we have been receiving.
